Better Together Solar is the largest solar installer based in NE Ohio. We design and install solar energy solutions for commercial, residential and nonprofit customers. Our local expertise ensures we are able to closely examine and account for the unique details of each installation site.

Our Team
Jamie Doyle
Director of Solar Construction
Jamie enjoys working with clients and showing them the installation process and mechanics of renewable energy. After completing hundreds of custom solar installations all around Ohio and beyond, there is almost nothing that he hasn't seen. For those customers that want to upgrade their systems, add EV charging capabilities, or add backup batteries, Jamie will likely be on hand to ensure a smooth installation. When he's not working you may run into him at a number of local music events or trying to keep up with his family of artists, athletes, and geniuses.
Carol Galloway
Office Manager/Sales Associate
​Carol's concern for the environment and community has led to many opportunities to help make a difference. Prior to joining Bold Alternatives, she worked as a Senior Program Associate at The Trust for Public Land, serving as the community engagement liaison for the Parks for People and Green Infrastructure programs. Carol is currently serving on the Boards of Cleveland Housing Network and Union-Miles Development Corporation. She is involved in her community and served on the Union-Miles Design Review Advisory Committee for the Business Revitalization District, organized various groups in her neighborhood as well as volunteered with the former SHARE Program of NE Ohio. Carol is trained in mediation and attended Tri-C and the University of Akron.
Stuart Lipp
Project Development
Stuart has 25 plus years of successful industrial sales experience, with the uncanny ability to listen to what the customer desires and deliver the product as promised. He is a great admirer of our wonderful Lake Erie and the open green spaces in and around Northeast Ohio. Stuart is a frequent visitor of the Holden Arboretum, Cuyahoga Valley National Park as well as the Geauga and Cleveland Metro Parks.
Robert Martens
President/Founder
Rob has worked on hundreds of solar project designs and installations, always looking for ways to use rugged, reliable, proven technologies for customers' benefit. Rob has worked with several prominent companies, notably The Lincoln Electric Company and KeyBank. Rob proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1987 to 1994. A Cleveland native, Rob and his wife, Holley, have lived in many places but now call Cleveland their home.
