Who We Are

Our Mission

Conserve the life sustaining resources of our planet, while energizing our communities, our businesses, and our homes.

Our Core Values

Create and build with integrity.

Better Together Solar is the largest solar installer based in NE Ohio. We design and install solar energy solutions for commercial, residential and nonprofit customers. Our local expertise ensures we are able to closely examine and account for the unique details of each installation site.

To ensure that your PV installation delivers the most power per square meter, we only use high quality solar components on our projects. Our team of experts never cut corners. Efficiency and transparency allow us to work with skill rather than rushing.

In addition to the design and installation of the solar systems, we work with our clients to create custom financial solutions.  Better Together Solar can also assist with Operations & Maintenance Contracts.

Whether you are interested in a solar array for your business or home, Better Together Solar has packaged and streamlined our process to meet your needs. No surprises. No hidden fees. Fair pricing.

Our 3-Step Process

Step 1: Free Evaluation & Site Assessment

We will listen to your concerns—both environmental and financial. Every Better Together (BT) Solar proposal comes with a range of customized options, allowing you to make the most informed decision about your energy future.

After requesting a free site evaluation, our expert installation team will conduct a comprehensive on-site survey of your property to assess its solar potential. The survey is free and there is no obligation to contract our PV installation services.

The three main constraints for a solar PV system are:
  •    Shade-free space
  •    Annual electrical use
  •    Ability to take advantage of tax incentives

Step 2: Prepare & Submit All Permits

and Applications

As a BT Solar client, you will be assigned a dedicated project manager who will guide you along the entire process—from start to finish. Your personal project manager will file all relevant paperwork on your behalf and answer all your questions.

To ensure your PV installation qualifies for grid connectivity and relevant incentives, our installers are certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). Our team is experienced with homeowner’s associations, city review boards and local zoning laws.

Our in-house design team will create a custom system that maximizes your energy output. You will sign an agreement with Better Together Solar that includes a 20-25 year warranty for the panels. We take care of permitting, system design, engineering, delivery, installation, inspection and commissioning.

Step 3: Installation & Approval

To ensure that your PV installation delivers the most power per square meter, we only use high quality solar components on our projects. Our team of experts never cut corners. We are efficient and transparent, working with skill rather than rushing.

Once installation is complete and permission is granted by the utility, your system will begin producing clean energy to power your home and reduce power consumption from your utility!
