Meet the Team
Director of Sales
Jack Slater
Jack joined BT Solar in the fall of 2022 and has utilized his passion for the environment to drive growth in Northeast Ohio's commercial solar installations. He enjoys the opportunity his work provides to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into many industries across the region. He moved to Cleveland to attend Cleveland State University and decided to make the city his lifelong home. Outside of work, he is a proud father and champion of ecological causes.
Service Manager
Orion Baker
Orion joined BT Solar in the summer of 2024 with nearly 8 years of solar industry experience. As our Service Manager, he oversees Operations and Management, handles damaged equipment, fixes issues, and implements preventive measures. Orion is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth solar system operations. Outside of work, Orion enjoys spending time with his familyand exploring the outdoors.
President and Founder
Robert Martens
Rob has worked on hundreds of solar project designs and installations, always looking for ways to use rugged, reliable, proven technologies for customers' benefit. Rob has worked with several prominent companies, notably The Lincoln Electric Company and KeyBank. Rob proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1987 to 1994. A Cleveland native, Rob and his wife, Holley, have lived in many places but now call Cleveland their home.
