PROJECT OVERVIEW
To support its long-term sustainability goals, ForTec partnered with Better Together Solar to install a rooftop solar array at its Hudson, Ohio headquarters.
The system has a total capacity of 203.2 kW and is mounted using a 10-degree tilted racking system designed to maximize sun exposure. It features Canadian Solar panels paired with SolarEdge inverters, ensuring high efficiency and reliable performance.
With a projected return on investment in just five years, the installation not only reduces operational energy costs but also aligns with ForTec’s broader commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
This solar installation is projected to offset more than 6,900 tons of carbon dioxide and other harmful emissions over 40 years, equivalent to avoiding approximately 121,947,364 cubic feet of COâ‚‚ that would have been released through coal-based power generation. To put it in perspective: That’s the same COâ‚‚ impact as planting over 20,000 trees, covering roughly 500 acres of forested land.
